Friday 5th March

Good morning Eagle class. Today is our last day of home learning before we are all back together in Monday. Only 3 sleeps to go ☺️

Oh dear me! I think Toffee and Fudge need to come to school to learn some rules. Look to the mess they made in five minutes this week. Aidan found them and kindly tidied it up....with their mischievous help!

Phonics

oy - toy for a boy

ou - shout it out

  • Say the sounds and learn the rhymes.
  • Practise reading the words using “Fred talk”
  • Can you read any of the words using “Fred in your head”
  • Ask your grown-up to read the words for you to write independently.
  • Now pick three words and write a sentence for each word.
  • Remember to use a finger space after each word

Story time

Here a lovely social story that has been written to explain to children about why they had to stay at home, why it’s now safe to return to school, and addresses any worries they might have about returning to school. I hope you find it useful.

Thank you for all the fantastic support you have given your children over the last nine weeks of home learning. You have all done a brilliant job and we can’t wait for the children to be back with us on Monday.
