Good morning Alps class. We hope you all enjoyed yesterdays music making activity!

Phonics

Reading CVC words

Today we would like you to read these CVC words. Remember to use your “Fred fingers” and pinch each sound as you “Fred talk” the word.

Next would like you make a word chart. Can your grown-up say the word and you write it word independently.  Now can your draw a picture to go with each word.

Maths

Here is the presentation for today’s learning

At school we would follow this up practically using the suggested activities.
If you would like to continue your learning further here are some optional worksheets to support the learning.

Afternoon tasks.

This week we are going to the DOUGH DISCO!!!!!

You will need a small ball of play dough or soft plasticine. If you do not have any dough you could try a small soft ball you could squeeze, or even a scrunched up piece of paper.

Alps class love Shonette Bason Wood who invented Dough disco. They call her “the crazy lady”
Her channel has lots of video's on her channel called Spread the Happiness TV

Our favourite dough disco dance with Shonette is Days of the week

Other Dough disco songs we use are:

Funky Feet Music - play dough disco
Dough disco - If you're happy and you know it!

Story time

Another class favourite today as we are Going on a Bear Hunt with the lovely Micheal Rosen

Have a great day of learning and remember  to add it to Tapestry
