This week we have been focusing on “special friends” ch

Can you find as many things as possible in your house that start with the ch sound?

Collect them together and then I would like you to write a label for each one. Use your “Fred Fingers” and pinch each sound before you write the word.

Please add a photograph of your items and labels to your Tapestry account.

• Say the sounds and learn the rhymes.
• Practise reading the words using “Fred talk”
• Can you read any of the words using “Fred in your head”
• Ask your grown-up to read the words for you to write independently.
• Now pick three words and write a sentence for each word. 
• Remember to use a finger space after each word.
